The Hastings Marching Band Program

The goal of the Hastings Raiders Marching Band is to provide students with a meaningful, enjoyable and rewarding experience through musical growth, dedication, student leadership, loyalty, and community service. We will represent Hastings High School and the community as ambassadors of excellence, pride and character.

Wind and Percussion players must be enrolled in a Hastings High School instrumental course for the upcoming school year. Band/Orchestra are full year courses and students must be registered for the entire year. Auditions are not required for wind players for marching band, but there is an audition for percussionists on instrument assignment. The color guard and honor guard is open to students not enrolled in a music program.

The marching band is under the direction of Emily Chandler and Thomas Wentzler.
